Abstract

The Black Sea region has been at the center and crossroads of history for thousands of years. Now, the Black Sea is emerging as a potential community capable of playing important role in preserving peace and security – the Black Sea Community. The article observes possible perspectives and implications of forming this organisation. Doctoral candidate S.Dobransky relies on quantitative analysis and traditional approach in the framework of regional integration and regime theories. Roots of his approach are based upon Immanuel Kant’s dream of open borders and the free flow of goods, services, people, and ideas.
