Abstract
Reviewed in the article is Sergey Kravchenko’s monograph: С. Кравченко. Становление сложного общества: к обоснованию гуманистической теории сложности. М., 2012 (Formation of Complex Society: to the Substantiation of a Humanistic Theory of Complexity). The reviewer notes the valuable contribution the book makes to the conceptualization of post-modern ideas of the development of contemporary society, the flexibility of the “complex society” notion, stresses the humanistic orientation of the researcher’s position.
