Аннотация

Продолжающаяся турбулентность в мировой политике сопровождается призывами заменить нынешний порядок международных отношений с модели мира, основанного на правилах, на модель многополярной системы, уходящей корнями в международное право. Политические лидеры и комментаторы, прежде всего российского происхождения, часто называли эти инициативы моральной революцией, призванной преобразовать нынешний мировой порядок. В данной статье рассматривается теологическая и философская подоплека идей, продвигающих такие изменения. В обсуждении утверждается, что эти предложения, хотя и звучат как революционные, перекликаются с авраамическими принципами международного диалога, разработанными средневековыми христианскими теологами, мыслителями Реформации, а также еврейскими и исламскими религиозными философами. В выводах подчеркивается, что современные приверженцы отказа от мира, основанного на правилах, прямо не ссылаются на религиозные доктрины, однако предлагаемые ими реформы и основные положения хорошо согласуются с этими более ранними этическими принципами. Это обобщение следует отнести к чисто научным, и оно вносит свой вклад в историю идей.
