Abstract

In the final part of the article by a well-known political scientist, concrete political mechanisms, which realize the key principles and the priorities of Russia’s national security, are examined. Multiple problems and contradictions that accompany the functioning of these mechanisms, are being analyzed. The author pays special attention to the problem of public control of the security sphere in Russia, to questions of society’s stimulative participation in answering the multitude of all those challenges and threats to its national security, that have piled up by today.
