Abstract
Tendencies in the sphere of providing security of social development are analyzed in the article, as well as the role of net communities, emerging in consequence of new communication possibilities, in the adoption of politico-managerial decisions and in lowering the risks in emergency situations. The authors stress the great significance of the resources of net communities in the interaction of the citizens and official authorities.
