Abstract

The end of the Cold War has not been followed by full disappearance of the ideologized opposition of Russia and the West, which most manifestly tells on the Russia – NATO relations. The new official NATO document – Strategic Conception, – notwithstanding certain novations, has proved unable to lay foundations for a new character of relations with Russia.
