Abstract

Starting point of the author’s analysis is the assertion of steadiness of the Stalin power system and of the pro-Soviet value and behaviuoral orientations in the contemporary Russia, which the author polemically determiness as Soviet post-Communist Russia. Themes revealed as subjects of the analysis are: stages of evolution of the Communist regime (1917 - 1991); historico-cultural preconditions of its ripening, and particularities of its formation and subsequent transformation into the post-Soviet regime. Among issues investigated in a wide context of the centuries-old Russian history, there are problems of legitimacy of power and of society’s self-identification; reasons of the especial “inseverable” intercommunication of property and power in Russia – phenomenon that the author describes, resorting to a special term: poweproperty.
