Abstract

The presence of racial-ethnic minorities is a structural characteristic of American society. This distinctive feature of it makes topical, in particular for the political domain, the study of inter-racial and inter-ethnic relations in the modern United States. The subject of detailed examination in this article embraces the ideological orientations of the Afro-Americans, of the Spanish-speakers, of the Asians and of the aboriginal inhabitants of the USA.
