The article deals with problems of preparing the text of a scientific article for publication in the electronic format. Discussed are particularities of choosing the print, of placing the different parts of the material, of designing tables and diagrams, if the reader is supposed to perceive the material “right from the screen”. The article is based on the materials of a seminar organized by the authors and published on the site of the Institute of Sociology, RAS.
