Abstract

The author gives a detailed review of the latest developments in the present day world political process and analyzes fundamental phenomena fraught with catalyzing the world political crisis, which is beginning to show. He makes a careful study of the dynamics of the world quasi-power political and economic structures that are taking shape at the moment, and estimates political threats caused by reinforcing projects aimed at reducing sovereign international economic and social relationships. Importance of the civilizational and religious factor, in particular, is especially emphasized in the development of the contemporary world. It is also marked that prospective projects of Euro-Asian integration actively enriched by the unique Russian civilizational experience can profoundly change the situation in the overall world atmosphere.
