Abstract

The author proposes a set of methods of composing variative symbolic models of social development on the basis of mathematical combinatorics, of turning to the evolution theory, to the selection of variants of integral models consisting of a finite number of dominant and non-dominant symbolic elements. In this way he deals, for example, with the “past” – “present” – “future” model. And in order to demonstrate the interaction of different elements of an integral symbolic model, he has availed himself of the corpuscular-undulatory metaphor conformably to the symbol, to its images and meanings, when symbols interact, mutually superpose one another, get cancelled and reinforced – like waves and corpuscles.
