Abstract

In the article the authors present in detail the results of the research of “Teenagers’ Political Consciousness”, which has been conducted by the political studies laboratory, The Higher School of Economics. 300 teenagers were interrogated in the polls in the course of the research: 150 Moscow schoolchildren and 150 street children. Moscow schoolchildren’s ideas of Russia, of its prospects, of its enemies, of the image of an “ideal” president are juxtaposed with the relevant opinions of troublous teenagers: of waifs and strays, pilferers, of children inveigled into prostitution e.a.
