Abstract

The article presents the existing theoretical and methodological opportunities for research of social protest; exposes the concept of “politics field” and its verifications; discloses the concept of tension of the politics field, its emotive, cognitive and conative components; the author explains what the protest potential, the discourse of protest and the repertoire of protest consist in.
