Abstract

The author analyzes the constitutional process in Russia and its prospects. Constitutionally, in his opinion, Russia now stands at a critical turning point, from which it cannot move anywhere else, but either forward, or backwards. No other alternative: either to go from just invariably declaring the constitutional principles over to actually realizing them in practice without fail, or, otherwise, to enter willy-nilly upon overtly renouncing these principles.

Keywords
Russia; power; constitutionalism; law; democracy; reform.
