Abstract

Presented in the article are results of the analysis of the Norwegian state science policy in the aspects of its organizational structure and finance. Especial attention is given to the actors functioning in the science space, their corresponding roles are considered and the contributions of each in the realization of the policy in science estimated. The author also analyzes in detail the principal documents determining the science policy in Norway. The article, besides, touches upon questions of science ethics and of international scientific cooperation in which Norway takes an active part.
