Abstract
The four authors investigate theoretical and practical possibilities of exit polls in determining stable/dynamic characteristics of Russian citizens’ electoral behaviour. The article supplied with a great number of diagrams, determines electoral structure of St.Petersburg, depicts the socio-demographic make-up of supporters of the country’s major elective associations. Exit polls allow, in the authors’ opinion, to set about solving the problem of discrepancy of verbal and actual political behaviour.
