Abstract
"In its “Chair” section, the journal publishes some materials of an international seminar on topical problems of the development of political science and of teaching this complex discipline at higher educational institutions. (The seminar took place within the framework of an international conference on problems and the world experience of teaching socio-economic disciplines, held this year under the auspices of the World Bank.) Many competent Russian and foreign scholars that fruitfully combine scientific work with teaching, took part in the seminar. In this issue, the journal publishes (in an abridged form) the papers presented at the seminar by: T.A.Alekseyeva, professor, head of political theory chair, MGIMO (U) of the Foreign Ministry, Russia
