The author analyses the changes in Russia and in the world which happened after the fall of the Soviet Union and world system of socialism. The following problems are examined. Social and political consequences of the Cold War end. The formation of the New World Order, Russian and American part in this process. The formation of the Network structure as one of the foundations of the World Order. The peculiarities of Russian identity considered and taken from domestic and international contexts. Political meaning and value of the Crimean crisis.
