Аннотация

В XXI в. теория революций встретилась с некоторыми затруднениями теоретического и практического характера, главным из которых стала концептуализация революций. В настоящий момент теории необходимы новые фокусы и подходы. Обогатить теорию мог бы концепт “куволюции”, возникший после Египетской революции 2011 г. В статье представлена концепция “куволюции”, которая может быть определена как особый тип революционного события, где присутствуют элементы как переворота, так и революции. Мы отслеживаем первые появления данного концепта в рамках академических работ, а также рассматриваем работы, описывающие явления такого же характера, но без использования термина (включая изучающие “эндшпильные” военные перевороты и последствия переворотов, которым предшествовала протестная активность). Далее мы анализируем наиболее полные определения куволюции и изучаем концептуализацию, предложенную Бейссинджером. На основе этого приходим к выделению двух типов куволюции, исходя из последовательности событий. Первый тип начинается с революционной мобилизации, за которой следует военный переворот. Второй тип начинается с военного переворота, который становится началом для революционной мобилизации. Оба типа куволюции мы сопровождаем примерами из истории Африки, в частности в Буркина-Фасо в 1983-1987 и 2014 г. Наконец, мы показываем необходимость концепта куволюции и его релевантность для понимания текущих революционных процессов.
